This project is an application for tracking work done by the congregation, it will allow the church member to log into the system and to record the logs and the donation amounts in the system.
I had a few challenges with this project. Originally, I
wanted to do each page as a separate HTML as my
index.html
was getting too long however, I found with jQuery mobile
I was getting quite a few errors while running it
locally.
My page had issues with changing pages and other things,
and although when I published the pages to my site
misstiffanyw.com
I was able to run without problems, since the assignment
needed to run locally I decided to do a multipage app on
a single html page.
When I switched to that it did go a bit smoother running
locally.
I also noticed a few challenges with different browser
behaviors. The application seems to work as expected in
Chrome and Firefox on my desktop
and on the Safari and Edge browsers on my iPhone,
however it does not work as expected in ie11.
I enjoyed learning more about the adding information to local storage, as well as dealing with password login pages. Dispite the challenges I had with jQuery mobile, I enjoyed learning about it and using it in the application.
